I've always said that in order to have as good of a time as we do, you have to sacrifice things. Like memory.

In an episode of "Cheers," Cliff Clavin, the trivia-spouting, quirky, irksome mama's boy mailman is seated at the bar describing the buffalo theory to his buddy, Norm Peterson, the beer loving heavyweight bar stool sitting perpetual patron.

Cliff expounds his "Buffalo Theory" to Norm:

“Well, you see, Norm, it’s like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it’s the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.

And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.”

You would say that Tai. :P
I'd say you are more of a cartwheeling type genius than a flippin one. But on genius we both agree.

I equated Jam Cruise to Cheers this year on the boat..."Where Everbody Knows Your Name."

I had to post this here. :) I am not saying I've ever had to do this, but if your wife tells you how embarrassing you were all trashed the night before, you can steal a line from Homer Simpson:

"Well, of course everything looks bad if you remember it."

Thanks Tai. Yet another reason why our school system sucks but thank goodness we have the JC forum. They just don't teach you this kind stuff when you are growing up.

So, they had a photo booth set up at DelFest. The folks who own/run it would LOVE to be on board. I think this is a great idea as well 8) The booth can be configured to imprint a JC logo on all the pics that are produced too. Great for souvenirs (and marketing...) Let's make it happen!

heh, this never registered with me. We spent a fair amount of time talking to Daren about getting his photo booth on the ship :) We met him through another (young) couple (sarah and a guy who had been on JC3 or 4) that we probably convinced to book too ;)
