McTuff Trio tore it UP last night at the Seamonster, with Jessica Lurie & John Terpin sitting in -> some truly incredible interplay between Jessica & Andy at a few points really emphasized for me the high caliber of both of them -> this gal is still smiling big from that set!!

evenstar & phamilyguy - have FUN down in Eugene, sure looks to be a fantastic weekend of music! Am sorry I will miss it, but... have been out of town 3 of the last 4 weekends, and that drive down the I-5 corridor from Seattle to Eugene is SUCH drudgery, I just don't have it in me to see bands I will already be seeing this week (Dumpstaphunk, McTuff & Poor Man's Whiskey) -> hope you enjoy it all but especially McTuff!!

Thanks Sparky. Fwiw, we're catching them in Portland after their earlier Eugene show the same day. That's 100 miles less on the 5 if you find the motivation  :D

so soooooo tempting!! the Goodfoot is hands down my favorite club in Portland, and McTuff at the Goodfoot on a Sat night is one of my favorite PNW road trips. Especially tempting knowing there will be special guests in town as well. BUT!! I really really really REALLY should not, and so I'm gonna try to do the right/responsible thing here and stay home. It's not like I haven't had a freakin' AMAZING summer of music & fun, so I need to just suck it up and take care o' some bidness before the rains start.

and besides - I've seen these guys play sooo much recently, in McTuff & asst collaborations -> I don't want them to think I a totally crazy stalker fan.... well, at least not any more than they already do - LOL. I prefer to call it "loyal".

anyway - I hope y'all have a great time!!

No, Sparky, I was working the Korn/Queensryche show yesterday. (Korn actually rocks, I was surprised to find out)

I just know Skerik's schedule.

Kitty, Denny, August, Sparky, Ritchie, and yes even our main man El Jefe out on a Tuesday night in Seattle to see Jessica Lurie w a HOT slice of M.E.A.T.!!! I'd say that makes a JC reunion!!

Jessica is AWESOME w/ McTuff! Come on JamCruise make some room for our boyz from Sea-town!

You won't be disappointed!

When we go, we go BIG!!! Great reunion with a top notch soundtrack! So glad we got all the horns, a 3 piece at one point, just awesome.

I've been saying I need to get down to the Seamonster for while now and now that I have, I need to get down there again!
M.E.A.T.!
