An friend hung out with Bill Kreutzmann after the 7 Walkers Philly show. Bill said that he will be on the boat for the whole cruise! A few of us had discussed how we figured the boys would be part timers. He said he is treating this like a vacation and is ready to party down. I'm very glad to here his perspective on Jamcruise. I too, am ready to party down. :D

And for you crazy drum circle wing nuts out there...he was told about the daily sunrise drum circle on the back of deck 14 (occasionally 15). He said he would be there to join in. If that were to happen, I'm sure some of you would enjoy being a part of it.

I'm just happy to hear this good news because he and I don't agree on Further. I feel the positive vibes now. Much better. :D

Funny side-note: same said friend was getting a lot of things signed by Bill later that night. She tried to sneak in a Furthur shirt...just showed him the corner of it and where to sign. Bill wasn't born yesterday. He was having none of it, though he did have a chuckle and was really nice about it.

See you at sunrise, on the back of 14 or 15. 8)

I actually was wondering about this b/c Davey is obviously on the boat the whole time (blues guitar workshop on Wed) and - well - seems like the RD's just might want to practice a bit before their sets, considering they haven't played any shows together since Sept... or at least they *should* - imho

and, yeah - Bill does like a good party!
