I'm Zink and I'm a JC virgin.

I've wanted to do JC since the first one, but never really had the follow through. My buddy Johnny (aka Barbecue) went last year for the first time and was able to describe for me, in excruciating detail, the experience...he kept saying do it Do It DO IT!!!!!! From his descriptions, it sounded even more like something I just HAD to do. He had a JC lighter and said he wanted to give it to me, but if I accepted, then I had to go and pre-book right away.

I'm going to New Zealand for 3 weeks at the beginning of November, so figured I shouldn't do JC this year, too....but he kept saying DO IT, it's worth it, etc...

So I took the damn lighter, pulled the trigger, and pre-booked.

Umphrey's is my favorite live band right now, followed closely by the funkier/jazzier jambands like Soulive, Karl D, Galactic, New Mastersounds, etc....I also love PGroove, but rarely see 'em since I live in the NW. I of course LOVE Skerik in all of his random bands (Dead Kenny Gs, Garage A Trois, McTuff, etc)...

Needless to say, when the line-up announcement came up I was SO PSYCHED!!!!!!!!!! Basically, I couldn't have chosen a better line-up personally. I cannot WAIT to get on the boat.

I figured I'd never be more excited for any trip than I am for New Zealand...but now JCX is right up there neck and neck. So awesome....

Can't wait to see ya'all on the boat!

i would like the powers that be to make the playing thrpugh til sunrise pool deck happen this year

i know it is a lot of work but doing this and moving the jam room and disco a little later would be nice, at least on the nights before the days without ports..........this would make playing through so much easier

oh another itch i gotta scratch is the disco bar closed way too early the last night, can we get a little love and not let this happen again
