Thanx for the support group Aslan! I get teary eyed every time everyone who knows me asks if I'm going on JC this year & last for that matter. Fortunately I haven't had to spend a dime on any of the excellent 120 shows & 2 local festivals (Guitarfish & Hangtown) I've been to this year, but unfortunately being unemployed for 3 years in a month (my luck Reno has the most unemployment) & living off my 401k for 1.5 years & using it to pay my credit card bills has made it impossible for me to go another $1200 or so more in credit card debt to make JC. I know, I know - I need a waaaaambulance immediately!!!

Looked thru many of my pix of JC8 (http://www.musicphotographics.com/jam_c ... photos.htm) a couple of weeks ago & realized - again - how much I'll miss going, but I know I can't be everywhere & do everything & this is just the best of many other superb festies (JazzFest, Wanee, Bear Creek, Telluride, String Summit, NedFest, High Sierra) I wanted to but wasn't able to make. Needless to say all the JCers going will have a blast & I'll be happier just for that!!! Hope everyone else who can't afford to go has a blast doing whatever they'll be doing while the party rages on the ship!

12 hours to go and then I will know if missing Jam Cruise was worth it.. Pls send positive vibes or whatever else you got..my grandmother put me at the top of her prayer list, so whatever works for you..

You will get the keys, I am sure!!! We are thinking about renting a boat to cruise the intercoastal on Sunday before JC - can we dock at your new home?!!??! I'll bring champagne!! I have read you are fond of that beverage...
