My two favorite things to do are see live music and travel to exotic destinations. My vacation time is limited...Thank you Jam Cruise for allowing me to squeeze both into the same week every year in such epic fashion! Now we just need some sort of weeklong Festival Express across Costa Rica where we have excursions during the mornings, rock out all afternoon and late into the evening and a moving Jam Room on the train at night with a pizza buffet in the dining car and sleeper cars where we can store our stuff and take 5 minute power naps. The logistics of it of course wouldn't work at all on the scale of JC, but I can dream can't I? 8)

you saw this part, right? the week long tour of costa rica before the festival?
http://envisionfestival.com/envision/in ... Itemid=300

I might consider doing this next year if they have it again. $1000pp includes the whole week of touring Costa Rica with lodging included AND the 4 day festival ticket & camping pass. Seems like a good deal to me!

I can't find what kind of music they are playing!? It does seem like it might lead to some good tips on a 'bug out' location.

This is the earliest I've ever prebooked. But I can't let any of you carnivorous lifers steal my room. Any of you prebook yet?
