private transfers through the cancun airport website, are cheaper for two people (75 bucks roundtrip) then doing it through C9, and you dont' have to share a shuttle and wait for others to leave, or leave real early to accomodate earlier flights.

Jam Cruise is over, just took our last friend to the airport. Guess I should start packing for Holidaze .. Can't be too difficult, bathing suits and sundresses.. I have no idea what to expect.. Kinda nervous.. I wonder if this is how AB felt before Holy Ship

Btw, the weather looks like shit! Calling for rain the entire time!?? We get there Wednesday but the rain starts Thursday and goes for days.. Can someone please steer the resort out of the way? :?

You will have soooo much fun. You made a good choice, sometimes a change of scenery does wonders. Holidaze is more like a vacation with music at night rather than a 5 day rager. Definitely not as much work as jamcruise, I had forgotten the recovery time there! The Now Sapphire is beautiful and clean with great food (even the buffet, IMO). The rooms are HUGE. We spent a lot of our daytime hours at the preferred pool, it's much smaller with very comfortable accommodations. The all-inclusive drinks are great but they run out of top shelf liquor (or say they do) fairly quickly, especially at the pool bar. The employees are VERY nice but they did get a little run-down by the end of the week because hardly anyone was tipping them. Bring some singles and they will LOVE you. The crowd was very nice, just like jamcruise, but without the costumes, not nearly as many dressed up. There were a few sketchy people last year (isn't there always?) and a friend got some things stolen out of their first floor room, so please lock your balcony door. The stage is right on the beach and I honestly LOVED every minute of the experience. I was planning to go back if they have Mayan Holidaze 2013, but my husband's first jamcruise apparently trumped his Holidaze experience because now we are pre-booking for JC 11. I will try to wish the rain away. My best friends Jodie and Steve will be there too, I want you all to have perfect weather!

Pack at least one warm outfit. Last year on the last night it was so cold I had on long sleeves and a jacket and still needed to wear my bathrobe on top of all that to stay warm. Most of the time I was in short sleeves and skirts though.
