holidaze is a very different party. the play it through club is significantly smaller there because there is so much less music.

Very little commentary from returned dazers. What did the rage-o-meter read?

Awesome time, Mayan Holidaze was no JC it was "Holidaze"' both good. "Raged it" at night and relaxed in the day. Food was better, but musical hard to compare to JC (but what does). Umphrey's McGee, STS9 and The Disco Biscuits, Big Gigantic, The Polish Ambassador and the DJ sets from Brendan Bayliss and Lance Herbstrong were all on fire and epic. Jennifer Hartswick was a nice surprise when she did a couple of surprise cameo appearances. The crowd had a nice vibe. there were not very many Jam Cruisers, but we enjoyed hanging with the few that were there and hanging with all the Biscuits Kids. Lastly, I have to call out the Mexican hotel staff and Cloud 9 for the graceful hospitality and hard work that capped of this epic event-THANKS.

For those who are on for round 2, Enjoy PANIC!

i'm not a real big STS9 fan, but their sets were freakin awesome.
after talkign with my brother, who was there and is a big fan, he said their sets this year were all at the top, and were much better then their shows at holidaze last year.

lance herbstrong was super duper entertaining. having the guitarist running around the crowd playing his cordless guitar was cool, then at one point he was up on someones balcony playing, then another time he was knee deep in the ocean, still wailing away. pretty rad.

all inclusive booze is cool. i definitely drank my monies worth.
