nice! I'm just coming off an absolutely amazing run of music celebrating my 50th birthday that was chock full o' Bandalabra grooviness so it's unlikely I will travel far for them anytime soon, but YES - you absolutely should go & I hope Signer comes out for it. This band is on fire right now and just keeps getting better!!

Jason & Jamie's Kickstarter Reward house party was last weekend, and thanks to fortuitous timing (post High-Sierra/pre-DKG's east coast) also served as my 50th birthday celebration (aka how freakin' lucky am I??!).

It was an incredible day or great friends, groovy vibes & incredible music -> one week later & I still feel like a princess!!

Check it out for yourself, yo.... Photos and stream at the link below.

They're kicking off Meltdown on Thurs. Mixed feelings about this... pysched becaused it will be a small crowd of the dedicated MD fans but bummed that those who can't make the early entry are going to miss out.

yeah - mixed feelings about this for sure... especially since they don't have the late night spot (I thought I'd heard they did)

very likely I will only stay until Sat... just not very excited about the line-up overall... and Mickey is playing not too far away. TBD!

Hey Sparky,
What part of "Seattle-ish" are you? We're down south a bit like Tacoma-ish over the narrows.

I'm east of Seattle, in the Cascade foothills... between Carnation & Duvall.

Do you ever make it up to shows in Seattle or down in Olympia? Would love to meet up sometime if you do!

fyi - Skerik is playing with (McTuff'ish) in Olympia this Friday night - Joe Doria, Andy Coe, Byron Vannoy & Skerik at the Olympia Ballroom. Skerik used to be in McTuff, now he plays with the only sometimes but it is always a treat when he does! Andy Coe is in Bandalabra w/Skerik. Byron Vannoy is a great local drummer filling in for Tarik. Should be a great show, maybe just maybe you can make it?

◦December 21, 2012 - McTuff + Eldridge Gravy "Soulstice Party" at the Olympia Ballroom
116 Legion Way SW Olympia, WA 98501
9:00 pm
All Ages with booze garden!
$13 or $10 w/non-perishable food donation

If you haven't filled out the survey, consider these guys as one of your "Wants" for next year. Trust me...

Skerik Trio show last night morphed into Bandalabra for the 2nd set = oh, yeah!!

fyi - sounds like there will indeed be a Skerik Trio show at the Owl & Thistle next Wed 2/20, it's not on his events page but he mentioned last night they would be back next week. This could be a good choice for being in town on business, chill scene (vs Seamonster which can be pretty crazy) and close to downtown if that is where you will be staying. I am likely to go for 1st set only -> let me know if I can help w/logistics, etc!
