Is there any place I can get complete set lists for the whole cruise (JC10)? I remember being at the Pool Deck and I think it was relatively late (definitely dark) and for some reason I remember a really hard rock type of closing song, maybe a, as wrong as this probably is, a "Metallica" cover or something... Ughhhh.... I don't know which night it was other than it was night and it was at the point in the trip where everything was just kinda colliding in my mind. Dammit, going to have to bust out the old, shirt pocket notebook next year, that's for sure.

Hrm, you sure there was still a band up on stage? The sound guys almost always play something really heavy (Ride the Lightning, Number of the Beast, stuff like that) after the last pool deck show on the last night for a few minutes through the sound system (very loud).

Else wise, you could maybe look at the set lists on live downloads for the ones that are up there. Let me know what you find, you have made me curious :)

ya, Tai's right, it was probly the breakdown music you were hearing, they pump out the metal when the bands are done and they're breaking down the stage :headbang: 8)

The 90 seconds of "Am I Evil?" following Lotus' 3 hour pooldeck set on JC8 was one of the cruise highlights for me and Tai.

HAHA Now that would be some shit! Im like 99% sure it was a band HAHAHA However while buying Cruise Tunes we did inquire about the bumper music and who was in charge of that because it was pretty cool as far as that goes. Good God what if it was bumper music!?!?!?! Ill keep looking/listening, hopefully it dawns on me while listening to all I have, maybe its buried in there somewhere and I just havant really scoured each set.

This were quite a few DJ sets late night on the pool deck so I am guessing a set list or confirmation might be hard to find. DJ Logic & friends maybe?

I checked all the pool deck set lists I could find (I guess I really want to know the answer to this, heh), and didn't find any such closing song. The closest I could find was Galactic doing Kashmir midway through their set.

Will keep looking, I wanna know!

You are probably thinking of the Umphreys show on the pool deck. They encored with Pay the Snucka. A guy beside me asked me if they were covering Metallica, but it’s an original. They also teased Crazy Train during the song if that helps you remember.

Good timing. I’m just updating my resume and can now add “Nominate for Best ever 8th post on the Jam Cruise message board!”

Glad I could help out! Now if someone could just tell me where the hell I was between 2 and 4 am on Green Night.....
