EDIT - It appears that Lubriphonic is calling it quits! Looks like this is a JBT only hope thread now. Bummer for Lube, they were really fun!

JBT absolutely yes!!! I've never seen the Lubes live so I don't have a strong opinion.

JBT would be incredible and I know Annabelle knows him as she introduced him for Bonnaroo or some other music fest vid I saw online! He is also quite an activist and would be very down with the whole positive legacy program going on with JC and Cloud 9. It would be epic and an instant sign on for me and many others that debate about JC each year!

Lube has done several Panic after party shows as well as played with tons of former JC bands ... Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band, Saw Orgone for the first time with Lube in Lawrence this past year before JC10, New Mastersounds, Ivan Neville played keys on a couple tracks on their last allbum. Maceo Parker, and many others! Giles Corey and Rick King would be amazing sit ins for most any band and jam room stand outs!

Either of these would be an automatic sign on for me as I am debating taking a year off unless the JC11 line up is super duper fantastico!

Peace
GD!

Note:

When attempting to butter up Annabel in order to get a band you want on the boat it helps to spell her name correctly... :NINJA:

 I figured spelling was optional! "Write" or wrong, the message is what counts!

JBT and Lube would funk the boat silly! ... and I know Lubriphonic would love to be aboard ... not so sure about JBT crossing over from down under for it, but his schedule looks pretty light around that time of year! Just sayin ...

EDIT - It appears that Lubriphonic is calling it quits! :( Looks like this is a JBT only hope thread now. Bummer for Lube, they were really fun!
