Hello - Did anyone notice that there appeared to be technical problems with pool deck lights inside of the pool/dance floor? It seems that the dance floor was dark during many of the night time shows... I just noticed that the lights were working during Holy Ship from watching their video...

Dear Ellen,

The C9 staff only turn those lights on when they're filming from the deck below.

The lights were off for the first (couple of) nights. But were on by the end of the cruise.

The dance floor broke during holy ship. Not sure how, but a large metal spike was sticking a few inches out of it.

Actually, HS would be a nice decompression after JC! I never want to leave the boat after JC but by the end of HS I bet I would be ready. One of the problems I see with HS after JC is that all the youngins have to get back to school for the spring sememster.

But believe me Sparky, I'm with ya!

Maybe if we think, and wish, and hope, and pray, it might come true

This ruined my entire experience on the boat this year. So much so that I just now realized they weren't working when I read it here  Must have been all the great music. House light guy wasn't bad either!

Ya! Good point! Has anybody actually asked? Posts on the forum don't qualify as asking IMnotHO

Let me start by saying the hubby and I had a fantastic time--as always. Truly grateful for the experience. Having said that, I'd sign on to any petition or friendly request to have HS after Jam Cruise. The ship was dirty, the staff worn down--things just weren't in the same polished, shiny shape they normally are. And the staff was clearly not as shiny as they normally are, either. Not that it ruined anything. But it was a distinct let down.

 Love it!!! Really shows how much we grown if we're now offering petitions!!! I will happily, wholeheartedly sign and campaign for this movement! JamCruise Jan 5-10/Holy Ship Jan 10-13 I'll book both if they make this happen!

Or for the ultimate cruise experience, why don't we award JamCruise their 6th day again and start on Jan 4th (this is for you serk! <3) and go till the 10th  . Then Holy Ship can run 10th to the 13th.
(only trying to help C9. btw, I have the perfect route planned if you do this!)

Where was this spike? Are you talking about the big tape covered bolt at the edge where the ladder would otherwise have been, I've seen that every year. Sucks to step on barefoot while dancing.
