Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Cornmeal is breaking up in October. One member had a kid recently, another got married & Allie is moving to Portland. I'm quite bummed because they're 1 of my favorite bands.

I read "you" as meaning Jam Cruise rather than JCers, hence thought it was too late for JC to do anything about booking Cornmeal B4 they broke up. Collins' post left a lot to be desired in the clear communication department IMO.

They lost the Drummer and Guitar player. Pete Kartsounes from Boulder will be taking over the guitar and vocals for at least a little bit. Cornmeal will continue on. Pete has a great voice and is a solid guitar player as well.

I might not follow them as closely as others but I had the impression they were finally making moves and getting more mainstream appeal. Seems like poor timing.
