Questions about beer

Unfortunately you can't use the wine bottle tickets for sparkling/champagne bottles on board

They are for red/white wine bottles only. I think there are corkscrews in the room but I don't quite remember so I wouldn't swear to it - probably? :lol:

There are ice machines but they are sorta hidden away, just tell your room steward when you meet him/her the first day that you want your ice bucket kept filled and they will be happy to make sure you don't run out (tipping them helps, $20 on the first day will get you GREAT service all week

). The little fridge is filled with 'minibar' for purchase stuff so there's not really much room to put your own stuff in there. Hope this helps!

They have drink tickets for any & all drinks. Including wine & bubbly. The drink tickets are color coded & priced according to value of the "drink". If you want wine in your room I would pack your own wine key. I plan to as well!! The porter service is slow....this way you have the proper tools you'll need when you want. I don't recall a cork screw being in the room. There are mini fridge that are handy but no ice. That comes from your room steward or porter so just be on the lookout for one & give a few $$ & they should take care of you. One week!! Who Hoo. I really need to start pulling out my "cabana wear"

I have decided to pack like I am going camping!! Leave nothing behind that I cannot survive a day without!! Portable cooler, wine key and my happiness!!

One week!! I cannot believe I pulled this off in 2 months!!

I don't think this is true, I have asked on previous cruises if I could buy drink tickets for champagne bottles and was told no. I've also tried to use wine bottle tickets for champagne and been told no. Perhaps something has changed on recent cruises, I haven't tried again in the last couple few years. They are more than happy to run my card for bottles individually so it's no big deal

If I remember correctly, it was on the last night, late into the morning, at the inside breakfast buffet bar, and folks were using multiple tickets of some beer/drink that bar had run out of, in order to get bottles of champagne/sparkling instead...

But, you know, could'a been a dream...
