Hi all, I'm so happy to be back on JC this year. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Abdominal cancer in back in June' 11 and wasn't even sure if I'd be alive today nevermind going back on the boat. But here I am a year and a half and 4 major surgeries later...on 12-12-12...finishing up my 12th and final chemo round, currently showing NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE! Miracles happen! For me this Cruise marks a milestone.... stomping cancer!!! Anyone who supported my cancer benefit in April, please find me (easy to spot, giant scar from pelvis to sternum) so I can by you the beverage of your choice. See you all on the boat! :DANCE:

These are encouraging words. One of my best friends got diagnosed with a brain tumor a few weeks ago. We have had many jams together. I've been nagging him every year to get on the cruise and now he's fighting for his life. Not to get all sappy or anything but it's very uplifting right now to hear that people actually do see the other side of stuff like this. Hang in there. See you on board!
