I'm in! Called C9 and they fixed it.

PS: Another bug found in the phpBB settings: I can't change my vote from no to yes now when I got the e-ticket.

Don't be an ass, that's a feature request. :P ;) Please change the bugzilla label.

Indeed.

Firstly make sure that "Allow re-voting" is checked (edit the first post of the topic, and select the "Poll creation" tab). If that has been done and the permissions are set properly, then you would just select a different option when viewing the topic and press "submit".

Now am I being an ass? :NAUGHTY: :P

Well, you have such a lovable ass, just ask AB. But I still don't see the bug - I will concede that it is not a feature request, it would seem the feature exists. But, it also appears that joel was looking for a sampling at that time slice, not a running count, and thus did not select the 'allow vote changes' option.

So, still no 'bug'. :)

PS. See the crap my product manager has to put up with? ;)

Dear Product Support,

the problem is this. When you create a poll, you only get the following fields to fill in:

Poll question:

Poll options:
Place each option on a new line. You may enter up to 10 options.
If you remove or add options all previous votes will be reset.

Options per user:
This is the number of options each user may select when voting.

Run poll for:

The question about allowing a user to change response never comes up when you create a poll.
This is a configuration setting just like the ability to erase a post you have made.
As far as phpBB is concerned, I agree it is a feature request because their SW works
according to spec with default settings that IMHO is utterly stupid but still according to spec.
Actually the inability to remove a post is not the default, that is something C9 IT has done
on their own.

The bug report in my mind is directed at C9 IT. The configurations are not suitable for
efficient use of the Forum. Maybe it's a CR rather than a bug. Ok, I'll give you that.

The great thing with software is that it actually is possible to fix stupid!
:D

This year it took me one phone call and I had it the next day. Last year was a nail biter for me. Oodles of phone calls and emails to C9 and to MSC and I didn't get the tickets until a couple of days before departure. If I were you I would turn the knob to panic mode (#11) right now and start chasing down people.

Nice...hoping that's the case for me because I am flying out Friday. Spoke to someone at C9 this morning and was told that I would be "added to the list"

Nothing here either. Sent an email today. Will have to call in the morning. :WALL:
I did get my email from C9 saying to stop by the Lifer concierge desk so I got that going for me.

I called MSC earlier, and they were convinced I had to do the web check-in in order to get my e-ticket. I remembered though from a post 4 years ago in ye olde Forum that it wouldn't do me any good:

Just FYI-

You can use the express check in to confirm your details and print out the form. However, MSC is not utilizing the Express Check in Line for our cruise. They have decided against it in N America because it has not been speeding up the process at all. Check in will work the same as it has in years past.

C9 called while I was going through airport security in Raleigh, left me a message saying not to worry about it because they have a manifest with all our names on it.

I still haven't received mine either but just got off the phone with MSC group reservations and they said they will resend our confirmations and etickets. See you all Monday!
