So who won this thang?

I couldn't figure out when the awards announced. Wasn't on the schedule.

What about the other awards?

What an amazing week. Already prebooked for next year!

There was no award ceremony, and I don't think the door deco contest ever happened, although it was mentioned in the program.

What say you, McCoy?

Not her department, *giggle* <-- I believe that was her response when asked by serk.

I think that one just slipped through the cracks, ah well.

our lovely herbgirl told me is was this one that won, somewhere on deck 11.

It was a hand written sign declaring it the winner. It said that a letter with a free one year subscription to Relix would be placed under their door.

I was on 11...and that little corner with the blow up lions and grandfather clock was near my door (the one with the "Hola, Me Llamo" name tags) was pretty awesome...

Pre-booked for next year already, too!!!

Hey Jam Cruisers,

It was an awesome time indeed!

The Door Decoration Contest winner was Doug Meckler's door on the 11th floor picked by Zoogma.. Photo is above.

Door decorations were at an all time low. I walked around. Many sections looked like the picture above. There were some really good ones though. Lession learned: if you want to have a competition, you need to tell people there is a competition and you need to tell people there is a prize and you need to announce the winner publicly.

PS. Since there were no official competitions, my corridor decided to have a bedbug race instead. Unfortunately we lost the competitors. Anyone seen them?

The door decoration competition was announced well in advance, on the website and via email, along with the info that Zoogma would be determining the winner - FYI.

I also think individual door decorations were at an all time low, but there were many more hallway/group decorations than I'd ever seen before. Personally, I prefer to decorate NOT in a competition. The fact that there's a competition makes me less likely to decorate. Or to decorate in a way that makes it less likely I'll win (meaning decorating hallways or using themes that dont follow published competition rules). I enjoy decorating - A LOT - but I really dont like competitions :D

Nothing wrong with a little friendly competition. Hell I bought a relix subscription anyway just to have a copy of the meters issue. Far as I'm concerned, I won.

:P
