i have faith in you creative people that together we can come up with a fun unofficial theme,,thats new and fresh,,,,i believe we can!

My vote is for a Dinosaurs & Lasers theme with a dash of Barbarella and Flash Gordon.

I was checking out the deck map for the Divina and if you look closely, there are only 28 standard size balcony rooms per floor and they are closer to the back of the boat than the front of the boat...

I am afraid that in order to get a room in a location that I want, then I may have to upgrade to the larger stateroom with the balcony... which is not an idea that thrills me...

Here is a link to the 12th floor to the divina... It appears that only the pink rooms are comprable to the standard stateroom with balcony...

http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/Main/ ... =Deck%2012

If anyone else interprets this differently, then please feel free to chime in...

I think they are going to have to customize pricing/categories for JC, something like making those green ones 'standard'. It seems like otherwise they won't be able to fill the ship, and it will price a lot of us out of going?

The Artist-only area did not exist this year at holidaze.Honestly i think most of the artists would prefer not to be locked away from everyone else.At holidaze this year the artists were just as into raging as the rest of the patrons.

I guess it wasn't "labeled" artists only but it was tucked in the back and was where the wives, kids, grandmas and family time was. It was a nice place for the little ones and family time for the artists and did not take away from them spending time with us at the main pool area. A lot of people didn't even know it was back there.

Are we sure that's Jam Cruise? People are dressed way too normally, no costumes...

Zebra - let's proclaim already now that zebra is here to stay, zebra bar or not! Zebra night rocked this year!
Nothing wrong with thinning out the herd from time to time. I'm proud of my stripes and look forward to each year when I can let them out in full. I don't see a venue inspired theme like the zebra bar so it will be fun to see what we come up with. If it works with my style I'm in, if not I've got my stripes.

I also remember when I used to show up for JC with only a carry-on suitcase. No checked luggage or frantic packing on the last night. Simpler times, me and my RObe. But those days are gone and at this point there's no going back. I'm glad that the costumes are here and here to stay, but humor me sometime if you find me and just my RObe.

why take the easy way,,,,zebra was fun for 4years,,,,,but it's played out,,,,the funny thing is after next years cruise, when the "NEW" unofficial theme has been picked, ya'll gonna forget about zebra,,,,,we so can't wait to make a "NEW" costume!!!!

Isn't there a Silver Room and a Black and White Lounge or something to that effect on the new boat? Don't know if those will be 'official venues', but at least it's a thematic start to replace the Zebra night (though admittedly not as fun).

My first thought was Alice in Wonderland chess pieces, and then I realized that would be Red & White. =/
