A question to those of you who got the flu: did you ever feel lightheaded and on the verge of passing out the first day/days of the flu? Any other symptoms like trouble speaking, dizziness? The reason I'm asking is that I want to know if this is a part of the symtoms of this year's flu. If not I think it may be a reaction to medication and if so the doc needs to know.
Just to avoid any misunderstandings - the person I'm asking for was completely sober at the time!
Thanks!

I was feeling ill the last night and checked out after Steel Pulse. I thought I was just tired because I felt ok for the trip home. Then I got my ass kicked, Sunday night through Wednesday was absolutely horrible. The worst cold in memory for me, but my fever never got over 99.7
At one point I went to the hospital thinking I had the flu (don't want to get the kid sick). Today is the first day I have felt good (8 days later) but I still have a nasty cough.

Not a good experience

Thanks for the info Rando. I am still dealing with a cough but I am finally back up. I promised myself to not be sober next year so this won't happen again.

We've both been keeping PinkPiggy in our thoughts here in MD. Hope she is out soon and back to her lovely self.
