All you Bahia lovers, I talked to the GM (I think his name was Richard) when we returned to port explaining that it looks like JC is moving to Miami and that we would miss the Bahia more than Ft. Lauderdale, he said he would charter a bus or two to take us to Miami if we would all stay with them. The cost according to the GM would be 7 bucks or less a person and if serious to let the front desk manager (can't remember his name) know our intentions. So unless someone knows of a great party place in Miami that can handle all us crazies we should take him up on the offer. He was also down with ordering up some better entertainment for the nights before and after if we could sell the place out as usual. Lets get organized and do this and get the Heavy Pets or another local band to rock it out.

Oh so they switched GM? Maybe that's why I got completely ignored when I was trying to set up one of the bands at the Bahia. It used to be Rob Alvarez. Oh well.
BTW, wasn't it fun to see the DJ digging to the very bottom of his trunk until he finally found Casey Jones by the GD? Goddangit this aint the usual Mustang Sally crowd!

I love the Bahia. And at least if we stay there then we still get the chance to see Aslan since she never comes on the boat anymore. :WALL:

Reminds me of the Bahia. Tiki bar. Huge hot tub. Pool. Cheap, crappy rooms. Plus it's beach front. And there are multiple restaurants to choose from so you don't have to eat the same fish tacos every single day. It's worth a look.

I'm somewhat familiar with that place from winters as a kid. Not S Beach, which is OK. Good beaches ,lots of shops/restaurants in that area. We all could absolutely take that place over!!!

The Bahia would be to far. A place close to the port would be great. Maybe we could get a discount or free live music in exchange for selling the place out.

It seems that they have live music most nights in one of their bars. I like the tiki huts on the beach. I think the servers come out there too. The hot tub is GIGANTIC.

Oh, and it looks like they have rooms starting at about a hundred bucks a night. And they seem to be efficiency style with pull out couches.

It looks like it's 20 miles from the airport and cruise port. Is that too far? Could be some pricey cab rides.

It does seem cheap, and on the beach is cool.

MSC is moving to Miami, which only leads us to believe that we are too.
