hahaha what'd you do, copy out the artists you like from the JazzFest linkeup? ;)

funk is good, but I like diversity. I would definitely NOT want that lineup on Jam Cruise.

BUT if they decided to do yet another cruise, ala holy ship, and called it Funk Cruise - well that'd be a perfect lineup then! ;)

i haven't even seen the jazz fest line up,,,this is from my head

of course its a line-up i like,,,why would i put say a bluegrass band in the mix?

and just like if you listed bands,,,it would NOT be the line up i would want to see on the boat

and fyi- not all the bands are funk,,,,i'd only call 12 outta the 22 funk-
there's afro-beat, reggae, latin, jazz,,,just to bring ya up to speed :D :D

I'd take that lineup if you got rid of franti, added some pedal steel, replaced john browns body with a band from Jamaica, and maybe tossed in something a bit heavier like Morning 40 Federation. :)

I was gonna edit my post since it was misunderstood, but since it's been quoted that'll do no good. So let me just say, if they DID start doing a Funk Cruise and that was the lineup, I would love to be on board!

No offense intended and I consider myself a huge fan but I could do without the Furthur fan base.
