a bicycle is the best way to get around,,you can go from frenchmen st to the maple leaf in 45mins and that is the longest ride between any two venues,,,,,you can buy a bicycle for less then $100,,you can then leave it at our home and you will always have it here!!

in this town you don't need a car,,,,how do i know this,,,we are going on 6yrs w/o a car,,,and we've beat people going from the blue nile to the leaf b4

for me bikes are only for burning man and relaxing vacations. i would rather get hit by a deep sea angler fish in the desert then on a city street by a person just on there way to work, but this is just me, some people are more responsible

do the 2 & 3 a.m. shows sell out?

There isn't a general rule about late nights not selling out, but few do. There are some shows at Tips late night, such as Galactic and sometimes Karl that will sell out. Most of the small clubs don't even know the meaning of selling out, it just goes off the chart on a sliding scale of packed. What shows in particular are you concerned about?

The $80 ticket price will cover all music, liquor, beer, soft drinks, water, crawfish by Shaggy and food from several local restaurants. That is a little more than $10 a band with all you can eat and drink for 10 hours included. Considering that Jazz Fest is $65 at the gate with nothing included, we think this is an incredible deal with the lineup we have assembled, not to mention that the proceeds go to an incredible program that we as New Orleans music lovers can all relate to and should want to support.

We expect this to sell out pretty quickly so please do not sleep on purchasing tickets. There is a very real possibility that there will be no tickets available at the door or even leading up to the event.

Now that this is all about to begin, we would like to start by thanking all of the amazing musicians, and food/drink/service vendors for your support in helping us make this possible. EVERYONE that I asked to help with offering either their musical talents, products or services said yes and for that, Ryan and I are eternally grateful. We will have a list of all of our sponsors up very soon.
