We're in that lull, eeek!! On the plus side, festival season is just around the corner, what you all got? We're feeling pretty busy with Del Fest, NWSS, and Camp Barefoot. Which isn't really that busy at all when you come down to it! =)

PS. it is now 9am on sat, I'm using odman's time travel trick to post this!

Festival season is already underway...Aura>Bear Creek. It starts where it ends :D

Going to be strange with no Amberland this year. Mantrabash is a given. I'm sure I'll get to a few more

Oddly enough I don't consider Bear Creek to be part of festival season, I blame the cold. =P We do have our campsite for that though. :)

Quiet? Not in Tahoe! Saw Poor Man's Whiskey/Low Flying Birds/Henhouse Prowlers on 2/9.

Went to 7 shows in 10 days & 4 in a row the 15th-18th: Mickey Hart Band/African Boyz/Delta Nove; The Floyd (Reno Pink Floyd tribute band)/The Novelists; ALO/CA Honeydrops/Tracorum; Leftover Salmon/Lonesome Locomotive.

Then saw Soulive w/ Robert Randolph, George Porter, Big Sam & the Shady Horns & a Slide Brothers afterparty on Thursday; Soulive w/ Nicki Bluhm, Papa Mali, Porter & the horns on Saturday; & Galactic/Fox Street Allstars on Sunday.

Next 2 weeks there are 2 moe./Orgone shows; Polyrhytmics; Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers; & Greensky Bluegrass/Ryan Montbleau. Slows down considerably after that, although there are still Kimock, TLG/HBR, Dead Winter Carpenters/Travelin' McCourys & Yonder/Del/Furtado shows @ the end of March thru April.

Did you hear that brother Matt got himself a banjo. Forget the liver twins. We can start a banjo trio instead. I think we have a need to fill!
