Please don't leave off Pete from the New Mastersounds off this list. He is a bad man.

We had a Bass workshop one year. George, Oteil, and Todd Smallie were the bass players and it was sick. I would love to see this again with George, Oteil, and Wooten. The last 2 are great at workshops and teaching while George is a legend. I could listen to George talk and play for hours.

I almost fell, or should say jumped out of my chair when I saw Victor's announcement. I saw Victor w/ Bela Fleck on his bday back in '01. Very thankful for and will never forget that show.

I'd been thinking Leslie Edward was due for another dose of us. Even if he likes to hide, I like knowing at some point there will be a sighting and some of that crazy sound only he can make.

So odman, how do we arrange that duel?

I still don't see anything anywhere that says Victor will be a part of JAM CRUISE in any way shape or form. He's not listed as an artist. He's only listed as an instructor for Music Camp :(

I HOPE he wants to come out and play in the jam room at night, cuz I'm sure they'd let him if he wants to, but I don't think we'll see much of any of the instructors, except at night, IF they want to come out.

I hope I'm wrong and that Music Camp instructors will have sets that all cruisers can see, like the announced Jam Cruise artists will... but I'm not getting my hopes up - I'd rather be happily surprised than disappointed.

I found him by accident too. He's listed as a jam room host:
http://jamcruise.com/mc-hostartists
I think that will be awesome. Definitely a change of pace!

I believe that Victor is too much of a people person to stay hidden away. When he played St Louis last summer, he stayed around and talked to us between sets and after the show. I was more excited about him than anyone else this year. I guess I need to fork over the extra money for Masters camp....even though I don't play. I am not sure what to do. I really want to see him play again.
