Hi everyone!

My husband and I will be booking our first Jam Cruise on Thursday, and we would appreciate any and all advice or tips you could offer.

Thank you! :D

Thank you for the links! Lots of good info.

How long does the booking process usually take? I'll be booking for just me and my husband and have already set us both up with the Cloud 9 accounts.

the actual reserving of your cabin? maybe five minutes? depends on how long you browse the room inventory I suppose. choose room > put in cart > check out :) pretty simple, like buying anything online.

or, you could call Cloud9 to book. that's probably a little bit slower but I wouldn't know.

welcome aboard!!

Thank you! That sounds simple enough. Although, 3 of the 3 cabin categories I had decided on as options are already sold out. I may have to browse a bit to settle on something, but as long as we have a place to lay our heads, I'll be happy.

I believe you only need one Cloud 9 account too, just for whichever one of you is lead passenger.

Actually I have found C9 to be very quick and efficient and even pleasant to talk to when I call. Right now there is of course not the same hysterical rush that there is when the tokens are released so time is not so much of the essence here.

On the topic of reading the FAQ, I warmly second that statement. Allegedly it was written by a council of "experts".

Thank you, everyone! So excited to book our cabin tomorrow. I started my list of items needed for the cruise. Lots of good advice in the FAQ.

No matter how much live music you've heard, no matter how many festivals you've been to, the Cruise will blow you away. You will be in a state of constant amazement. You will not believe how many times you'll say to yourself "I can't believe what I'm seeing/listening to/experiencing." The only thing better in life is the birth of a child.

Advice - groove on the theme nights, have fun with costumes, and bring stuff that glitters, twirls, lights, and/or shines. Start thinking now about how you would like to decorate your door. And your room. You will find the most creative, open, beautiful people on the voyage, and we all elevate by being with each other and participating.

Already did the birthing of a child which was definitely the most amazing thing I've ever experienced, so I'm super excited to try the second most amazing experience. Can't wait to share it with all of you! :D
