Hello!!

My name is Hope and I live in Fort Lauderdale (just moved from the midwest). I'm a registered nurse and music enthusiast. This is my first JamCruise with many more on the horizon. I play a mean air guitar with outrageous vocals. I love shacking it to all kinds if music (kinda) but if I had to declare a favorite band most days I'd say Phish.

Been to JC before?: Yes, this year will be my 8th in a row. Husband will be a Lifer.
What do you do for a living/for fun?: Public interest lawyer for a living. For fun I see lots of live music, dance, and paint.
Play any instruments?: Viola (averagely) and bass (not really at all but I like having it).
Favorite bands/artists?: I'm on the untz-funk spectrum: e.g., Lotus, Lettuce. Unless there's a bass line to thrown down or shake it to, I'm not interested.
Finally, what is it about music that brought you here?: The intimacy of the musical experience, the sense of community with fellow cruisers, and the caliber of the friends you make are beyond comparison. It's an escape to Never Never Land, a week that gets me through the entire rest of the year.
