I've seen Prince twice on his recent US tour. What a great performer. It was one of the biggest non-festival shows I've ever seen as well, whole new experience. What I really want is seeing him in a small club playing rather than performing. He's a hell of a performer, but I know he has more to offer as a musician than what he brings to the table in those arena shows.

There are a bunch of acts I'd like to see and it's hard to prioritize. A gut reaction would be Aquarium Rescue Unit. I'd also love to see Stevie Wonder. Never seen Radiohead, that would be another one. Oh, and from the obscure front: Ernest Ranglin!

Stevie Wonder is a great choice! I went to a bunch of Bonnaroo's back in my youth so I saw Bryne & Radiohead there (as well as Tom Petty, Tool, Bruce, Beastie boys, Beck, mMetallica......

I'd probably say the red hot chili peppers but I guess this thread made me realize how lucky I am that I've seen all of my favorite living musicians.

Surprised you havent seen him rich. For me its Tony Allen, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell and ive still never seen Lee Fields. Atoms for Peace would be cool and so would Kendrick Lamar :)

i was lucky enough to see Ernest Ranglin with Vinyl last year and it was amazing.

Missed out on the Beastie Boys, Zappa, The Cramps and Doc Watson so now it would be Strangefolk, Camper Van Beethoven, and or some collaboration with Buckethead preferably Deli Creeps or C2B3. Too hard to pick the one

Ernest Ranglin
David Byrne
Mike Doughty

I would love to see any of them on the boat. I think they should book Ernest now. It won't be long before he is not an option.

I was thinking about this ,when the answer presented itself with the sad news that Linda Ronstadt has parkinsons, and can no longer sing. Have never seen her and she has such a beautiful voice, plus I had a bit of a crush on her growing up in the 70's. I've been very lucky to have seen so many musicians whom I admire and move me. A few others include Marcus Miller,Bootsy(so that will happen soon), Coco Montoya, and Janes Addiction.

Saw David Bowie in a 2,000 seat venue with Earl Slick as his guitarist... Priceless!
