So the official theme nights should be announced any minute now... but what about unofficial? I haven't heard about anything yet... did I miss something?

Can't remember which day it is but one of the un-official themes is shorts and t-shirt day (don't expect robert walter to participate) and one of the night's is the pants and sweatshirt night although i am hoping to skip this one as it would be nice if it were to hot to handle the costume

I am all for this one, and I think it will work out really well with the new ship! Obviously we dont know where the stages will be and what venues will be used as what yet... but there is both a Silver Lounge and a Golden Jazz Bar on the ship, so I'm thinking there might be a good opportunity to match this theme with a venue once they're announced, like zebra/zebra lounge was. And you know cruisers love metallics and glitter anyway :D

Plus, crystal stairways!!!

Hey guys,

I am looking forward to being back on the boat! I checked out the themes... purple - no problem, and wacky sports - can do. Glitter would be a way of getting another use out of our NYE wear. I think space funk for Bootsy is a no-brainer. The only other thing I could think of was taking our animal prints (incl zebra) out for another spin. I know these two were already themes on JC9 so I understand wanting to keep it fresh. As a relatively new cruiser, I don't know what's already been done (except insane porno clown posse), but let's keep this discussion going. See you onboard,

Kirsten

Hey K2! So happy you're back. JC was never the same without you! (Am I overdoing this? :D )
I think the zebra is getting mostly retired judging from the vibe on the forum. Not only because it's old but also because there is no zebra bar on MSC Divina. I sort of remember somebody posting a list of all previous themes but now I can't find it anywhere. Anyone else remember or can the poster identify her/himself? It would have been a good addition to the FAQ but I was asleep at the wheel when I saw it.

Zebra will go down as one of the most fun UN-offical themes ever, but with that said NO theme should be done 4x in a row.

I agree, however I have a feeling there will be zebra sightings on the boat no matter what

btw wouldn't this be 5 in a row

Got it re: les zèbres. Here's some themes for ya:
Zodiac signs - that way we can identify our kindred signs and avoid others :EH:
Favourite foods? Come on, you know you always wanted to dress up like broccoli
How about your fav drink or party favour? That could lead to unwanted attention
I know: nudist colony. The easiest theme to prepare for, but not so easy to pull off

Here's what I think we should do with the zebra. No more zebra theme, however as a throwback to good ol' times we should all wear a tiny little zebra thingie somewhere on our costumes. It could be a sport to figure out where somebody has hidden their zebra. Dips on the zebra bowtie (I got one and no you can't have it! :P )
