Did this happen? I was hanging around the pool deck after Lettuce waiting for it to start and they started setting up holy ship dj tables on the stage never heard any announcements about it being moved or cancelled, wondering if it happened.

That was a bummer but man butch trucks came off as a jaded old geezer every time he opened his mouth. I think he embarrassed Luther many times..

Yeah, that was pretty lame. I talked to Victor's sound guy, Jack, and he said it was some sort of safety concern. But I find that hard to believe since Lettuce and Robert Walter were able to play on the pool deck before Masters Camp Jam was supposed to happen and the weather didn't get any worse up there...

Even more of a bummer for peeps without Masters Camp access...which was awesome (agree with above about Butch, though...haha....be NICE dude, people threw down big money to hang with you!!!!)

Butch went on and on about how much blackkeys suck. They are not my thing but they are far from sucking..you could tell Luther was like wtf.

Apparently there were safety concerns...but then semi-alleviated...but yeah Butch was tired and wanted to bail, too....lame.

wish they'd said something instead of making us stand around for an hour.

and there are some Black Keys songs I *really* like, poor form to dis other musicians.

Both times I passed Butch in the hallways he was complaining loudly about how lost he was. Definitely more than a bit crotchety, sorry to hear that carried over to the actual master camp sessions

And yes, an announcement about the set being cancelled would've been nice

Yes this was some bullshit. First move the EO set to a much smaller room then not even announce wtf was going on with the Masters Jam. I was really looking forward to this, the very last set on the pool deck.

Also no mention of Fishman and Brock Butler not making it on the boat.

I did hear an announcement about Fishman and Brock. but nothing about The all stars and I was up there for the end of Robert Walters. Even heard about Everyone orchestra moving to Black and White.

yeah, i heard announcements for fishman not making it, and for moving the EO set, but there was nothing about the masters camp set, so we just stood there forever until I finally asked Doria what was going on (saw her and Toast putting up stuff for Holy Ship).
