getting sweated out of the jamroom isn't fun

no, not really.

I also miss the urinals where you can look at the ocean while you pee

I thought the same thing. They must have been peeing off the side of the boat. :D

Foodwise:

How about one healthy non-meat non-salad food available at every lunch/dinner. I had some decent Indian stuff one night. But veggie burgers (white bread, potato patty, and fried potatoes), pizza (white bread and cheese), and pasta (white flour and cheese) will really mess up my insides for the next week. I need some cooked whole grain to go with a simple mix of cooked non-starchy vegetables. That will take up two chafers total in the buffet and i can't be the only one wanting this.

This would counter the BBCs, Miami Vices, bourbon/gingers, and straight tequilla that are my primary food source from sundown till noon.

-Keep the photo booth open till at least 5am or whenever the jamroom ends. 3am was way too early. Id settle for at least 4am.

-same idea with the guest chefs. they should run until one hour after the main pool deck set. Thats when everybody needs to eat. I pretty much missed them all. Although i will say that i really loved the buffet food this year. The mixed veg curry was sooo good.

-open the infinity pool bar at sunrise instead of the normal pool deck bar. Thats a way cooler place to hang out in the mornings but with no open bar there is no chance of people gathering there

Agreed

- The bar at the rear is a waaay better place to hang than on that bar behind the pooldeck stage. It's large enough to accommodate everyone who is up that time of day.Since the divinia is the only MSC boat in the carribean we'll most likely be on it for a few years to come.

-We need some more legit dj's with some better slots than the disco. I know it's not really a priority to have dj's on jamcruise and I don't wan't upset the powers that be but we really need to get some legit talent out on the pooldeck side stage or something. Please make a half hearted attempt would be good enough. The disco is extremely hard to find and there's ZERO furniture in there and it made it uncomfortable to hang in there. It just seemed to be a disservice to the artists in there. There are many acts that would be super cheap like aeroplane, tiger and woods, the magician or lee foss that would cost almost nothing and could provide a good change of pace for us. If I could just poach a couple acts from holy ship every year.

-Can we turn off the music at the rear bars in the early a.m. hours??? The choice of music on the bar speakers was not good for the time of day it was. We can provide our own music at that time of day.

-Can we have Escort?? I saw them this new years in New York after the biscuits and they'd be perfect for our little cruise.

These are just suggestions not demands of course, you have done a fantastic job over the years.

Yes, LHF! As long as the B stage lives, there should be more DJs there at night. At minimum for tweeners. The Magician or Aeroplane would be awesome. Would also love to have Luke the Knife and Beard o Bees back.

That was another gripe about the disco on the Divina -- on the Poesia the disco had places to lounge and look cool. Divina had nowhere near the dance floor to take a breather at all (in addition to being totally closed off and hard to find). Since we have no intention of not dancing our a$$es off, I think more DJs on the outdoor B stage is a great solution.

Disco Lights suck, had to make my hat cover my eyes. even sunglasses didn't help with that flashing mess
also everything else people have said about the disco is true

Back Bar is the best morning bar.....get it open

Rotating stages = keeper

maybe just have outside chefs come in and take over the whole thing

seemed like the jamroom was ending everytime i made it down to it? maybe it needs to start taking lessons from the spot

JC still keeps getting better so keep doing what your doing cause you do it well

I would love to see that restaurant in the back become the disco. That way you could walk right outside and sunrise would be seamless.

It would also make it easier to get from the Jam room to the disco. Same elevator.

i did not like having the 3rd venue {zerba bar} moved into the jamroom. i understand that logistically it made life easier for those setting it up, but w/ the bigger boat, it was difficult to walk from one end of the boat to the back bottom of the boat, to see sets,,,in years past we could just go downstairs from the pooldeck and in a few minutes we could checkout the theater & the 3rd venue, then go right back to the pooldeck,,,now to get to the 3rd venue it is a 15minute walk each way.

but heck we love jamcruise so much, we booked for a 10th straight year !

I couldn't agree more. It made it really difficult to hop around. I felt like I had to commit one way or another to a single show just because the other show I was interested in was a quarter mile away.

i don think there's any way around it. the other venue options are much too small.

Yeah, I think this is the unfortunate reality of the Divina. Bigger boat, but fewer large venues.
