Been the witness to some great shows, so lucky. Once in a while the music is so good it will bring me tears of joy

The first song that anders, porter jr, jonny v a few years back is the last one i remember on jam cruise, think i might have shed a drop on purple rain this year too

Have you ever cried cause it was that good? when/where, you know you have, just admit it

I cry all the time listening to music. Many times its while I'm dancing my ass off, so many people don't even realize or in my car..yeah in my car, a lot! Last time live music made me cry was at high sierra this summer. Watching Bill Frisell, Ernest Ranglin, Fareed Haque, Scott Pemberton, stanley Jordan and skreik on stage together really blew me away. Guitar and finger tapping explosion

cosmic slop & can't get next to you are 2 songs that bring a tear,,,,,cosmic slop is about a mom that tried her best, but had a hard time,,,,,,,,can't gt next to you is about having all the powers in the world like turning a single grain of sand into a castle, but none of the powers get me next to my love,

then there was Warren's pooldeck set last year, i coulda used a box of tissues for dat!

I cry at music all the time, usually while I'm smiling. Last time was at Franti and before that Jazzfest....it is not usually a particular song that makes me do it...it is usually a feeling of gratitude and "how lucky are we?" that does it. A "This is my happy place" feeling. I love to be that connected to the music and the musicians...and the crowd. Sometimes music feels a little (a lot?) like church for me, so I also feel connected to God and for that I'm grateful.
I usually sit in the gospel tent at Jazzfest UNTIL I cry. Doesn't take long. Lots of love and gratitude there.
Amen-brother!
