august dupree says, if it's got to do with the Dead, post it here.

I'll start. I saw Wayne Horowitz and Co. (Andy Coe, Darren Loucas, Paul Matthew Moore, Eric Eagle, Colin Higgins and Andy Stoller) perform American Beauty and Working Man's Dead recently at the Royal Room in Seattle. What a great show! They really captured the magic of having your mind blown and your heart broken at the same time.

Steve Kennedy-Williams was on hand to capture these matrix recordings and they are here for you to enjoy:

Thursday Night:

Friday Night:
https://archive.org/details/gr2016-03-18

Check out the Attics from Friday Night!!! These guys spent 90% of their rehearsal on this tune. Amazing stuff. A true heavyweight song.

the acoustic one is Andy Coe, but I don't know about the one you referred to. August should :)

Doesn't look like Dead & Co is in the cards for me, we'll be Europe when they're in VA (and they're playing a venue I HATE - but we did get tickets to see Black Sabbath there in August, so I will go there, given a good enough reason ;)

This is our local Dallas Dead cover band and I'd love to see these guys on the boat. I've seen many cover bands including Dark Star and this is my fave.

Oh yeah?...well our local Dead band kicks your local Dead bands a__!
Just kidding, we actually have great admiration for Dallas's Forgotten space all the way here in Florida. Their approach differs from DSO and they sound really good.
Not to mention Bob, Jerry, Will, Kenny and Hunter are all great guys whom my
Wife and I have hosted when they come through this area.
Here's some trivia: You know that classic guitar solo with the Garcia-esque envelope filter on Edie Brickell & New Bohemians "What I Am" (1988)?
That would be Kenny Withrow of Forgotten Space.

Here they are at our favorite club here in Boca:
