It's never too early to start the systematic badgering, right?

Kamasi Washington needs to be back

Disco Biscuits would make a lot of people happy and probably bring some pals back on the boat

Oteil Burbridge needs to be on the boat again, he is a lot of fun

Dumstaphunk

PHIL & FRIENDS it's gotta happen

Mike Dillon's New Orleans Punk Rock Percussion Consortium (I mean come on)

Aqueous (moe. loves these guys, and so do I)

Cabinet (would be great for the Pool Deck)

lespecial (good NE proggy jamband)

Dr. Lonnie Smith

Fantastic 4 (Krasno, Cheme, Robert Walter, Deitch)

Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey (how has Haas never been on Jam Cruise, wtf?)

Astral Project

Opposite Box (Chattanooga freaks, check them out)

The Polish Ambassador

Tipper

The Royal Noise (Philly funk/fusion, very good)

Soule Monde (lots of room for collaboration)

Here's a few on the top of my wish list. I have purposely not requested Galactic, GPJ, Karl, Ivan, because I feel like they'll be there whether or not I request them, so why waste my badgering

Herbie Hancock
Les Claypool (any configuration)
Bela Fleck (any configuration)
Tedeschi Trucks Band
Larry Graham & GCS
Anders Osborne
The New Mastersounds
Big Sam's Funky Nation
Travelin' McCourys
Sideboob (Shook Twins/Allie Kral/Mimi Naja)
The Cat Empire
Parov Stelar
Lotus
Rubblebucket
Golden Dawn Arkestra
Moon Taxi
The Marcus King Band
Hayley Jane & the Primates
Carolyn Wonderland
Jen Hartswick

I was aiming low and leaving off the regulars but yes Tedeschi Trucks Band and Claypool would be at the top of my headliner list. Claypool Lennon Delirium is really awesome stuff but I bet Les would want the ol' proverbial pile of cash. Same with Phil & Friends, I'd be cool with Billy and the Kids.

I want to really think about this one, and I'm discombobulated at the San Fran airport at the moment. I will return to this...

I'll just say add JRAD to the above and leave it right there. The rest is all gravy (magic). Seriously, I wouldn't even care about the rest. I know it would be good.

Also, no. It's usually too late.

AB, August, et al who are into the punk jazz thing,

Throttle Elevator Music. For anyone who is not aware, they are a punk jazz outfit with Kamasi as the front-man. Schwildin made the intro, and it was love at first listen.
