The Jam Cruise Forum

The bands on the jamcruise are awesome, but I think there is something missing. There is a band from Athens called Dubconscious. They are about to blow up, and there are no regionally developing bands on this cruise. All the bands are nationally established. There are some great new bands around and they deserve to be heard.

Just wanted to drop in to tell you that some great regional bands (believe me...they wish they were national!) will be on board. The main one I'm excited about is a band called Tishamingo. They actually are from Athens, GA. These guys can definitely hit the right notes and I think will be a fantastic addition to the line-up. This is such a kick-ass opportunity for them too. I agree, it's nice to have some bands that everyone doesn't know about. Keep a look out for these guys on the boat -- they will be someone you will go back and tell your friends about!
