-or can it be a copy of the actual one? I don't have a passport, but i do have my original birth certificate. I just do not want to loose it, and knowing me if is a great possibility. Is there any way around this or do I need the original? And how is JC1 going? I can't wait for JC2. Thanks.

if you read the docs, it has to be an original or a certified (raised seal from the state of origin) copy only. If you are worried about losing it, then see the concierge about locking it up in a safe deposit box on board.

Although, you can always get an official copy of your birth certificate by going to www.vitalchek.com - that is where I got mine from in order to go on the cruise without a passport

:P
