for real though, I've been a DJ for 10+years do they ever have "locals" play inb the disco or anything? not really looking for anything, just would be a good time rocking some beats

DJ Rourke..... out of Boston. He's an old bandmate of some of the Lettuce guys. He used to be in a pre Lettuce/pre Soulive band called Fatbag waaaay back in the day with Kininger and Deitch, etc. He also in Club D'Elf and has played with Medeski several times. So he's closely linked to many musicians on the boat already. Not to mention he's a sick DJ who's really good at playing with a live band. DJ Rourke gets my vote ! 8)

and DJ Motion Potion..that cat can get a dance party going. Motion Potion and DJ Rourke spun together at the Berkshire Mountain Music Festival VIP "after party" in 2002. This dance party was off the hook out of control mayhem and didn't relent until sunrise....those guys were sick together !!!!!
