whassup Jimbo. I am still enjoying them tapes from Claypool. FYI, Lenny has my server info and he is supposed to pull the Particle shows and hook you up.
A couple of things - whomever stated earlier in this thread that Jimbo, Lenny or any of their crew demanded people be quiet around them, well, get a clue man. Tapers respect the audience, and vice versa. The crowd is half the ambience of our tapes. I was directly beside Jim during Les' first night, literally on his shoulder, and he nor anyone else made a scene. Please, let's drop this mud slinging & useless flaming and four letter language. I hope that some day down the road, mr. guest, that you get your hands on Jim's tapes and you hear yourself on the tape. Then you can turn to your friends and boast, yep, that was me...I was drunk.

Caution Recording: what capsules were you guys running on the Schoeps clamped under the balcony on the main stage. Well, I'm not positive they were Schoeps, but they sure looked like Schoeps windscreens. I saw the Lunatec V3, but that's all. HOW CAN I GET CAUTION'S AUDIENCE CLAYPOOL?
I was running Jeff's Neumann KM84>V3 rig in the Grande Ballroom for Particle both nights, and did not have the ability to get upstairs and work out details. I've called Jeff, but no return call yet.
Jimbo, I love your tapes man!...they have a uniqueness that only a lip of stage tape presents. But I really feel that you are missing just a tad of the "mix" that the PA's can give us.

Caution - I plan on calling you guys again. Please contact me off list.

Regards,
Jered Haddad

I don't think those belonged to caution.

They were Robert Kwon's of southern recording whom I think were doing the video production.

Yep, those were mine.

MK4s > KC5 > CMC6XTs > V3-24bit > d2424lv.
(running inside Tribbles at 22.5cm x 95degrees)

If that's not technical enough for you, the CMC6XTs are modded to relax above 20khz, instead of the standard lift above 20khz, at 24bit mode. Contact Bernhard Vollmer of SCHOEPS GmbH for more info, also professor found at The Tonmeister.
