my parents took me to RFK to see the Grateful dead in 91 when I was 13.

The first show I saw with my friends was also the Grateful dead - MSG 10/15/94. My birthday was the 16th and they played the encore just after midnight so it was actually my birthday (one more saturday night)

My mom dragged my brother and I reluctantly to see the Rolling Stones in 1989 at RFK in DC, I was 14. She bought tickets from a scalper, and we met my dad, who was already there. It was awesome. Unfortunately I was a rebelious teenager and, unwilling to admit I liked something my parents liked, had to maintain a veil of misery while at the concert.

My dad took me to a few Dead shows at the Cap Center over the following few years, planting the seed for my love of live music.

DEBBIE GIBSON ! ELECTRIC YOUTH TOUR. I was like 12 and my sister was 8. The music was too loud for my sister so my mother asked the older girls in front if I could rage with them. I knew every word/note and they couldn't believe it. I wish we had pictures. This is quite possibly where my front row addiction started , moving up one row at a time)

Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung, Fall of '91 (not counting some classical concerts for families that I went to with my parents as a little kid)

I am sure everybody here knows who I am talking about
