when will you be in atlanta again? wayside riders play at brandyhouse 2/6.

Probably not for some time. My trips to ATL have become less frequent over the years. On average, I visit twice per year. I'll keep you advised on any travels to The Big Peach.

aaaah the Grapes. I used to see them every weekend back in the early nineties. They were my first introduction to the "scene". Their shows were really high energy. Do the Wayside Riders play any Grapes tunes?

i have asked the boys from wayside riders to join in the discussion. they can do a better job than me in bringing folks up to date with specifics on their music... (note: romin dawson wrote several songs for the grapes and he's also a guitarist/vocalist/song writer with wayside riders.)

for more info, also see: http://www.waysideriders.net

i do know they have a few AZ dates coming up next month... as they start up touring following the release of their new CD.

peace all,
jamgrrl

We play a few Grapes tunes. Fate, Year in Hell, Dream the Night....

And BTW, the only songs we had on the AWARE compilation were, Water to Wine and a live version of Dream the Night.

I guess I should have written a better sentence. Sheesh! What I meant to say was that I first heard of your band by purchasing AWARE 1. I went on to later purchase your album and fell in love with those songs. Sorry if that wasn't clear, but I more sorry to read the fact that you needed to correct me.

Where's the love on this message board?

i told wayside riders all about meeting you on JCII and what you're doing with national lampoon, etc. they are psyched to meet you when you come to atlanta. i think that was trapkit -preston- one of the drummers that posted above me. he's just a "thorough" kind of person. he didn't mean any harm. he was trying to provide correct info. that's all...

peace,
jamgrrl

ps: anyone interested, wayside riders has one of the most active forums around - anyone can post there & all the guys are usually on there daily. ck it out if you'd like: http://www.twofishesinc.com/bbs/toast.asp

(i'm not sure why, but the forum is not hosted on their official site & sometimes you have to hit refresh a couple times to get the page.)

OMG! the article made it on. i did a fan-based article on the fast success of wayside riders and jambase posted it yesterday. it took awhile to get the article in shape & i was holding my breath for the last few days. i can't believe it!!!!!!!!! look for

"WAYSIDE RIDERS ON THE RISE" at the VERY TOP of the jambase home page!!!!!!!!!!! GO TO: http://www.jambase.com now...

there are a couple tiny problems with the article - for instance it has a link to "the grapes" which there is no website today for the original GRAPES, but apparently a band in CT is going by the same name & they do - so that link goes to their jambase info. weird... but that should be corrected.

please read & see what all the fuss is about. these boys truly deserve this great recognition...and there's more to come...

peace,
jamgrrl
