Hi. The hubbs and I will be traveling from Miami International to Ft Lauderdale (Bahia Cabana) on the 8th. Our plane arrives just after 5 PM. We're exploring cheap ways to get to Ft Lauderdale, and wonder if anyone would want to share an inexpensive rental car if we get one.

We're also looking into a rental car for the 15th, when we would be leaving the Bahia Cabana area around 6 AM to go back to Miami.

Also exploring the rail system (and any other way of getting around!) The rail system won't work for out itinerary on the 15th, though.

We'd also be into sharing a shuttle.

Correction: Now we'll be renting a car just one way- from Miami to Ft Lauderdale. And you don't have to be going to the Bahia Cabana, of course. We'll take you wherever you want to go.

Eh, screw it! We're taking the train! If anyone wants to join us on the Tri-Rail, we'll be getting on the 6 PM one from Miami International to Ft Lauderdale Airport (Jan 8).

The Tri-Rail is definitely the way to go. Make sure to look at the schedule (which is updated to the minute) so you make the first available train from when you get off the plane.

Best of luck and safe travels to South Florida :)
