I'm looking to see if anyone is interested in buying my original cabin.

Cabin Details - Its a double (2-person) regular sized balcony, #9173, great location - next to an elevator, above restaurants/jam room, below disco/buffet/24-hour bar at back pool stage. The cabin borders the big balcony cabins in the middle, so there is only a neighbor on one side, the other side is private because the wall dips in. I had the same spot last year, and there was a bonus shelf on our balcony where the wall dips, though I can't guarantee it will be there again. Check it out on the floor plan.

Price - Selling the cabin for face value, including all taxes and fees. I got a $200 rebate when I "paid in full", and I'm willing to share this with you. I'll give you half the rebate to offset the cabin price, and apply the other half to the new cabin.

Please reply here, or send me a message if you are interested. Thanks!

Selling your cabin for more than you paid for it is scalping.

I don't know who you are salmon head, but I you have the wrong idea about me. I'm definitely not trying to make a profit on my JC cabin, and I'm sorry for whatever made it seem like that's what I am trying to do. If you want to talk about this in person, please come find me on the boat.

Torrey, I thought you got this squared away! Are you still in need of a roomie!?? SH, she's not scalping she's just trying not to get shafted.

Here in lies the problem with being a lead passenger, all the fees (gratuity/name change) are not included on the "cabin" price so many people think you are charging more than what you should when all you're trying to do is not pay more than the other people in your cabin.
Is it fair to stick the one person who got a cabin with all the extra charges because they knew a year ahead of time that they wanted to go?? Here is a prime reason why I would like to see the boat get smaller and get sold out in July. Then maybe then, people in November and December will be willing to pay what it costs to get on board. Also if C9 doesn't have vacant spots, they could maybe help direct people to cabins that have had cancelations.
(OK, off my soapbox, this just hits too close to home since I myself just stuck out my neck and took lead passenger for JC10, at least I'll be getting the least expensive cabin)

Keeping $100 of the rebate means collecting more than he paid, correct?

Regardless, you guys should let him know that I'm just a prick and he should ignore me. :D

Going away again...

First off, let me say that I found a great roommate to share the cabin with. So if you are in this forum looking for a room or a roommate, I have nothing more to offer you!

To clarify, I was never trying to scalp tickets or make a profit on this. I was offering to switch cabins and split my rebate between me and whoever bought the cabin, so we could both apply it toward our name change fees.
