its funny when a lurker comes up to you and says hi, cause they kinda know us but we don't know them. it happens to us each jazz fest and on the boat. we love when a lurker goes from lurking to becoming a poster!!!

You're no lurker now! I had this account for years but didn't even lurk because of lack of technolgy. Eventually we all come out of our shell or lurking shadows.

Any one else find it somewhat amusing that execpt for achalsey, we've got some heavy hitters that have responded? Wasn't this thread for the lurkers??

Semi-Lurker

This will be my 2nd cruise. My wife (Suhrm2) and I went 2009 and I posted a few questions, etc... at that time.
2010 just wasn't in the cards for us with family, kids, and my wife pursuing some work with the Legislature, etc.
WE just decided last week to book the 2011 cruise and I have been semi-lurking since...

We meet several of the forum posters and other RO... thanks to phorevergr8ful (a lifelong friend of mine).

Even ran into a few veteran forum posters in San Fran for a few nights of Dead / Allmans in May '09 (Bodhi / Skate).

Had a good time with a few people on FB on Sunday as we picked a set from Archive and all jammed the same tunes as we listened from different parts of the country.

We're looking forward to raging the boat this year and meeting new people and getting reacquainted with others.

Back to Semi-Lurking!
