The Jam Cruise Forum

Hello Mr. & or Mrs. Jam Cruise,

This is invitation to possibly share a car ride from Bradenton/Sarasota Florida to Fort Lauderdale Airport on Monday, January 3, 2011. I will have a regular rental car, probably a Neon or Kia-4 Door Sedan, so maybe 1 or 2 people max with 1 suitcase each/minimal luggage. Please note I must leave early by 10 AM at the latest this morning in order to make it to Fort Lauderdale by 4 PM.

It would be nice to have safe, reliable, funny, and friendly company for the 4 hour drive from the West Coast to the East Coast. I do ask that you contribute gas money, since I am renting the car. I have a valid drivers license and have been driving for a while without incident (knock on wood). Once again it is very important you are a reliable and safe individual, which should make logical sense. I am happy to pick you up along the highway 75, but can not really stray too far from my course. Unfortunately I will have to drop you off at the Fort Lauderdale airport as our final destination since this is where I must return the rental car, but good news is it looks like most Jam Cruise Hotels have a shuttle to the airport FLL.

I recommend you eave a little earlier. If that rental car breaks down you're missing the boat. If anything happens, you're missing the boat. I want to see you ON BOARD!

she's planning in arriving in FLL at 4pm the day BEFORE we board.. I think that's plenty of buffer time personally but earlier is always better I suppose!

This reminds me of a time I once spent in a room with two other individuals that seemed nice and friendly enough at the time. They acted pretty hip and used the lingo and one of them kept trying to give me money. It was weird so I left.
