I've heard of that place. Well, only a week ago. Before that it wasn't even on the map

Agreed, Keith is a monster when he wants to be and he would rage the hell out of the jam room!

I had seen all those little regional bands when I lived in Virginia but THe Mantras, DJ Logik and others never make their way to NYC. Makes me sad. I saw The Mantras again at Camp Barefoot last year and I walked away with them as one of my new favorite rediscovered bands. I thoroughly support this thread!

The Mantras have the same booking and management company as Zoogma, who is opening for PGroove at the Brooklyn Bowl March 25th. (Same booking agency that also books PGroove). Would be great to see the two of them together on the same bill. Regardless The Mantras will make it to NYC. They've been expanding their touring radius more and more lately to as far north as Philly. I'm sure they'll be there soon.

Smokin show on Saturday

Get them on board and we'll have 2/5 of Ali Baba's Tahini since Jake Cinninger is already on (Justin Powell plays keys for both)

Agreed! Their late-night set the last night of Barefoot 6 was an unforgettable sunrise rage. I totally vote Mantras on Jam Cruise 11! Great music and equally awesome guys, would definitely be able to kill it on Jam Cruise. Would make my first Jam Cruise even better if they were there!
