love that pic!
No mandolin (or sousaphone or grand piano :) ), had to travel light this time.
I'm sure we can find enough equipment on the farm to make some noise!

The flock tried to play pedal steel! It took a team effort, and they weren't able to work the knee levers, but all in all they weren't too baaaad.

Darn complicated instrument. I like to have at least one limb free when I play. Have you bought cowboy boots for it yet? Case you didn't know, that's mandatory when playing pedal steel. Have fun!

The problem with beer:

That it is within a 'bottle', i.e. a boundary-less compact 2-manifold homeomorphic to the sphere. Since beer bottles are not (usually) pathological or "wild" spheres, but smooth manifolds, they separate 3-space into two non-communicating regions: inside, containing beer, and outside, containing you. This state must not remain.

It took me a few boundry-releases to re-instigate the thoughtitory necissisaries to replificate this wordage... so here goes...

... I agree.

good to have you back audio, this forum has been D.E.A.D.
If you rotate the bottle as you drink it empties faster. The limiting factor is air passage through the neck of the bottle and by spinning the bottle while drinking, the air will pass through the middle of the beer spinning out of the bottle. As you probably have guessed, yes there is an optimal rotation speed where the flow of the liquid out of the bottle is maximized with the constraint that air pressure equilibrium is maintained. The longer and narrower the opening of the bottle is, the greater the rotational velocity must be to compensate. Think before you drink!
Cheers!

Kim Jong Il may not be completely wrong. Note how bored he is when he looks at a tractor, or vases or melons.
Look how happy he is when he is looking at a bottle of booze!

At some point I'll understand the difference between a chimp with an AK47 and a so called human with an AK47...

I just had to google that one. Insane how a blog like this can permeate the interweb like that. But yes, picking ones battles is indeed paramount!
