Or maybe I should say I
hope we're not on the same ship yet again next year. I don't have any 'inside info'

I found myself wishing for a new ship next year as well. Cant even really say why. Our cabin was smelly and trashed when we got there, (i get why, they had holly ship running late and a too quick turn around) and they offered to come in and clean but said that the linens were new and could we wait till tomorrow morning for a cleaning. Still remnants of the last folks in the cabin, and not nice ones either. So arriving to that kind of took the magic moment down a bit and may be why we were kind of missing the old new poesia. No big deal in the scheme of things, but it did make me long for days past when the ship had that sparkle and shine and "new ship smell" haha. Cabin condition aside, I tipped our porter well first thing and asked if we might get robes and some ice. He nicely and quickly did that and was very pleasant for the cruise. But overall, as someone else mentioned in another thread, I think that the staff is over their love affair with us, too. Didn't feel the same connection as in years past. Sorry for all of the stuff that has nothing to do with dates!!
I agree, that would be a great window. It was easier for us a bit farther from new years.
Looks like either way we will port out of Miami if on MSC? Does that sound right?
