i agree on the OL, will be sad if this don't happen this year. also agree with PIGS ON THE WING, best show at regen and who would not love a pink floyd tribute

it will take me time to think of a real wishlist so yes it is too early for me

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ THIS RIGHT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As much as I absolutely love love love lebo... I would like to see a live painter for each stage... 4 or 5 all together... switchin up mainstage n such and keepin it fresh...You may have seen the gallery I help build at the suwanee... Ive done purple hatters, blackwater twice, and Bear Creek this year!!! I know tons of amazing live painters that would love to donate to positive legacy and be able to show all you fine people their skills... I believe I will start a new thread for this

My requests for next year: (Last year's request for Toots worked, so here goes...)

Hot Tuna (perfect for a sailaway party)
Girl Talk (DJ set on the pooldeck)
Bela Fleck or Victor Wooten with any combo ( I have yet to see them on this boat - I missed the boat those early years)
SCI (need I say more?)
Free Peoples (small local band that would kill it on JC)
Pimps of JoyTime
ALO (will have a new album out by then...)

There are probably more, but that's good for now...

The Magician would make a fabulous addition to the disco.

Hrm, that's too much southern rock for me. and I wouldn't go to pgroove or particle. I'd have a lot of down time I think. :(

I don't think Return to Forever is realistic, but man that would be great. But in general booking a true Jazz legend to augment what we usually have on the boat would be killer. Just Stanley Clarke, for example. Or Dr Lonnie Smith. Or George Benson. Or Idris Muhammad. Or George Duke. Or Roy Ayers.

Don't underestimate what type of talent would come in their wake. Anybody who caught one of the Dr Lonnie Smith sets at Bear Creek last year will remember the guitarist and drummer that played with him. Those two were fantastic. I can't even imagine what the guitarist would do in the jam room.

if we add conspirator and the duo to this lineup we could have electron sets.

...or if we give posford another shot (and the duo) we could get younger brother live band.

i'd prefer electron, but the more t-ham, the better imo.

This.
Brilliant, Reggaeboys. As always.

I'm not ready to make my list yet, it always changes, and I need to think some more about it.

i'm all for some more jazz as well. i'm not that well versed but i remember coming into the jamroom one year to see grant green jr, karl d, garret (bass from the motet) and fishman playing some serious jazz jam that completely blew me away.

also, i think it's time to bring lotus back. :NINJA:
