not as pimpy as it once was. i can only assume the % of people on the boat with Robes goes up each year. C9 should make patches that Lifers could Sew to their Robes

could buy extra luggage tags and make them into patches for the cruises you've been on :)

I've had an idea floatin around in my head since the LIRRs did the belt embroidering. It no way compares to LHF's RObe. I said onboard that the only way I see possible to out pimp LHF's RObe is to have a self dry-cleaning RObe that cleans itself after each show (patent pending.) Can you imagine it!? Walk out of the Jam Room at 6am and WHAMMO! freshly dry-cleaned RObe ready for a new day.

If sewn on the right way they could double as little pockets.

Mine's got my name on it. That's probably all the after market work I'm getting done. It's helpful because i can still meet people if my voice is shit or the music loud.

... although some racing stripes might be cool. :NINJA:

it's not the first time i've heard ideas like that. honestly, i think it would be kind of lame. the robe isn't about status to me. it's about being awesome enough to keep coming back year after year... and extreme comfort. it would be like a pimp getting a fur coat with "i have 14 bitches" embroidered on the back. if the fur coat isn't enough for you to feel like a pimp, you're trying too hard.

now self-cleaning? that would be amazing.

My robe stays at home, but I think I'm going to add wings. Yep.

I was thinking about gliding down the hill and across the sheep fields, but sure, I can flutter around the house with the best! I really need to go on a diet to fit into that skirt though...

I'm convinced. It has to be done. Besides the RObe is far too small for me anyway so I need to extend it with something. Zebra sounds like the right place to start...

Ha! I can just picture this (although I think you SHOULD take a picture and post it), since there's 6 inches between my robe cuff and my wrist, yours must what, come to your bicep?
