I must admit, the door thieving was a buzzkill.

We had one of the undersea themed doors on deck 10 (With the shiny blue walls.) We had 9 stuffed animal fish taken, and 2 plush flowers. I heard that they made appearances on the pool deck, but who knows.

Why can't peeps appreciate and not take?
WE didn't get to appreciate our door after all the hard work of even getting the stuff there. Not to mention by the time the doors were judged, our coolest stuff was gone. (Not that it really competes with woodcarving.)

I would have loved to come home with our white shark, hammerhead, manatee, killer whale, dolphin, beluga whale, and colorful fish... oh well you get the idea. Hopefully wherever they are they are travelling the world and enjoying good music. Send pics to facebook/funkmesilly

Anyway, it wouldn't stop me from coming back. And, it probably won't stop me from going big on the door. I will admit that I would like it if peeps would enjoy the creativity, without feeling entitled to destroying it. /rant.

Not sure when the judging occurs. Perhaps it could be moved up ? That would imply a deadline for door completion ?

Also, I'd hate to see this fun tradition run afoul of the "Banned Hammer". As in: no door decorating allowed.

We need to keep the hallways clear. Use non residue tape like "gaffers tape".

We should take our doors down by the last night (hard night to be responsible). Leave no trace behind and we'll have smoother waters.

[I'm guilty of leaving my poster up with goey tape on JC10. I was so embarrased to wake up hearing the porter trying to quitely clean up my door. Apologized and quick $20]

Just saying for longevities sake, we need to keep from being a nuisance.

I find this especially rude because the little bo peep girl was giving away her stuffed animals. There wasn't any need to steal yours!

At the awards show I think they said they did the judging on day 2.

The trick we used was to put down blue painters tape first. Then put double sided tape on the blue tape.
It was completely painless to take down.
