@Tai: acually it's a little more involved than that, but yes you can start out simple. I fiddled a little bit with a CPU doing FFT on the incoming sound and let the separated channels drive triacs. But what I'm thinking about now goes down to how the wire is fabricated.
I'll see if I have a pic of the RObe with its inhabitant. It's a lot of flagging on half staff going on. The One-Size-Fits-Nobody approach isn't exactly fair. I know it's a fun givaway, but dangit I paid $10,000 for that RObe!

I too couldn't believe how small these one size fits SMall robes are. Was bummed after waiting four years to get mine this year and will never be able to wear it. I am really surprised that over a few years now, they haven't decided to add one more larger size for the robes so that there was a couple sized to choose from.
